About image tools

The image tools cover everyday photo jobs: making files smaller or fitting a size in KB, changing their dimensions, converting between JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and iPhone HEIC photos, cropping, rotating, and removing hidden camera and location details. Others size photos and signatures for exam forms and passports, and crop images for social media and marketplace listings.

Not sure where to start? To email a photo or fit a form's size limit, compress it. To match exact dimensions a site asks for, resize it. If a photo won't open somewhere, convert it to JPG, which works almost everywhere.

Questions

Which image format should I use?

JPG for photos that need to open anywhere, PNG for screenshots, logos and anything with transparency, and WebP for websites, where it's usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same quality.

Will these tools lower the quality of my photos?

Only as far as you choose. Compressing and converting to JPG or WebP let you set the quality and preview the result before you download it, and PNG output is lossless. Resizing uses Lanczos resampling to keep edges sharp.

Is there a limit on size or how many images I can process?

Each image can be up to 50 MB. There's no sign-up and no daily limit: process as many images as you like, one at a time.
